Air-Strike Command
Air-Strike Command
You command a squadron of fighter bombers, each capable of carrying a single bomb at any one time.
On the randomly generated map are 5 fuel depots. Each depot supplies fuel for a single aircraft, so if you a loose a depot you will also loose access to one of your aircraft.
Enemy Tanks will cross the map starting at the edges and attempt to capture the fuel depots. You can destroy the tanks by using your aircraft. Each aircraft will fly from a runway (off map) to the target and drop a bomb on that target before flying back to the runway. Once there it will re-fuel (if enough fuel depots still exist) and then will be available for another attack.
Each level (wave) will increase both the enemy attack speed and number depending on difficultly level.
Hints:
Captured depots (shown in red) may be re-taken by destroying the capturing tank, however be careful to not destroy the depot as well.
The top right of the screen shows available aircraft and if they are currently on a bombing run.
Controls: WASD (move around the map), QE (Rotate Map). Use the Mouse to move the Target position and left click to mark the target and launch an aircraft at the target.
Available Versions: There is a WebGL version that can be run in the browser and a PC version that may be downloaded. The versions are identical except for some graphical settings.
Quality Settings: The default quality is medium for WebGL. This can be changed to High for PCs only. The PC version uses Decals to project the targets which are not supported in WebGL. Also the PC version updates the random terrain when the bombs hit to create craters in the terrain.
Concept: Game is based off the idea of the classic Arcade Game "Missile Command"

Development / Credits / Acknowledgements: The game was developed by a single developer and uses sounds for FreeSound.Org, Graphics from the Synty War pack. All voice acting was poorly done by the developer!
Thanks for trying the game.
